- minimize the number of strokes used to complete each length,
- dramatically decrease the speed of movement through each stroke cycle,
- eliminate as much noise as possible by seeing how little one can disturb the surface in passing.
100 easy backstroke or breaststroke
1000 for time @ 15:00

12 x 100 @ 2:00
- 1-3: 25 fly/50 backstroke/ 25 fly
- 4-6: 25 back/50 breaststroke/ 25 back
- 7-9: 25 breaststroke/ 50 free/ 25 breaststroke
- 10-12: 25 freestyle/ 50 fly/ 25 freestyle
12 x 25 with fins – dolphin kick on back
200 easy 5500 yards
